On Saturday 18th April 12:39am, internal monitoring indicated an issue with the Blaze VPS Hypervisor xnsrv33.blaze.apdcsy1.crucial.com.au, causing hosted Virtual Machines to become unavailable. All services were restored following a reboot of the hypervisor.

A similar issue surfaced with xnsrv34.blaze.apdcsy1.crucial.com.au at 9:45am. An investigation was conducted which identified a recently discovered kernel bug as the root cause of the issue.

To ensure the ongoing stability of customer services, all affected hypervisors were patched, which was completed at 12:30pm on Monday 20th April.
